How can I find my laptop brand and model name?

Finding your laptop’s model name or even brand, can sometimes be a difficult task.

Before ordering a laptop battery, one must know its laptop brand and laptop model name.

There are two main ways to find out what your laptop brand is and what your laptop model name is:

• Your owner’s manual should show the brand and the model name on its front cover. If you can’t find your manual, continue reading.
• Most laptop manufacturers print their name on the back side of the laptop’s screen. The model name can be located in several places:
  below the LCD display, above or below the keyboard and even on the bottom of your laptop.

For Windows Operating System:
If you did not find your laptop’s brand name or model name, but you’re lucky enough to have a windows O.S installed, follow these steps to find your laptop brand and model:

1. Go to your desktop.
2. Click 'Start' on the bottom left of the screen.
3. Mouse over 'Programs' > 'Accessories' > 'System Tools' 
4. Click on 'System Information'.
5. Your computer's manufacturer, model, etc. will be listed on the following page.
